Paper has been produced in Tornesch for 65 years now. Initially with a proportion made from straw, for decades only from recycled paper and for 5 years now also in a sustainable combination with grass fibres. The paper mill has made a name for itself on the market in this sector in recent years and has developed into the grass paper experts. Thanks to the robust machinery, the Tornesch-based company is also able to try out many innovative paper compositions. With alternative fibre materials and blends, they show themselves open to trial runs, also as a service provider.
The paper mill produces the increasingly popular grass paper “Nature-Liner®” on two paper machines using a process developed in-house. The incomparable look and feel offers unique selling points for packaging that stand out at first glance and thus offer advantages in terms of argumentation in a sales story. Board grades up to 550 gsm are also available in the ecological grass fibre mix.
