As part of the successful 2023 recertification, the scope of the integrated management system was once again expanded and defined more broadly.
DNV GL Business Assurance carried out a regular review of the processes and procedures in May. In the course of this, the product and service areas have been significantly expanded and now include not only development, manufacturing and sales, but also trading. Papers and packaging materials, which are not limited to corrugated base paper, are now also covered by the certificate. The paper mill is thus increasing its range of options for operating even more comprehensively on the market. This applies to all areas such as quality, environment, energy and occupational safety.
Another new feature is the use of alternative fibers, which do not necessarily have to be of plant origin. Here, too, the paper mill is keeping all options open to explore new avenues, test production runs and market them.
Thus, Papierfabrik Meldorf is the first point of contact when it comes to trials with new ideas.
