There is a new collaboration between Papierfabrik Meldorf and OutNature in the field of alternative fibers for paper production. The paper mill, which has been active in this sector for many years and can therefore draw on extensive experience and structures, is supporting OutNature with packaging papers made from a recycled silphia mix. The papers with a basis weight of 115 – 170 g/m² are food-certified and are primarily intended for use in the corrugated board sector.
The steadily growing interest in the market for packaging made from sustainable raw materials has made this step possible and underlines the importance of such a cooperation. OutNature is a brand of the environmental service provider PreZero and is involved in the development and sale of innovative fiber and paper products, primarily made from silphia fibers.
The Papierfabrik Meldorf paper mill has been active in the paper industry for over 65 years and stands for short response times, high quality packaging papers, but also for short response times, high flexibility and the production of small batch sizes and niche products. In addition to quality and energy efficiency, particular attention is paid to environmental protection, with a focus on the responsible use of resources.
The partnership with OutNature thus underlines this ongoing commitment to innovative and environmentally friendly solutions in the paper industry. The managing directors of both companies are confident of success and are very positive about the collaboration.
